Hi, and thank you for stopping by!  Encore Music came about when a local music store I was working for closed down back in 2012. Realizing I was out of a job, I began to wonder if I could strike out on my own and work for myself. My intentions were to find a studio in which we could provide guitar lessons and guitar repairs. After all, I had been teaching for nearly 15 years and had accumulated a good number of students during my previous employment. I also wanted to continue to work and service guitars. A trade I learned from other more experienced technicians, when I worked in the music retail business. But it occurred to me that I didn't want to run just a "guitar shop". I wanted to cater our services, or potential services, to anyone that was in need of "musical assistance".  This is how Encore Music came about. Our shop doesn't really fit the mold of most typical music/guitar Shops. We know that. And so far, it's worked out really well.  In a nutshell, Encore Music started as music lesson studio/repair shop. But we have evolved into much more than that since 2012. We buy, sell, trade and provide consignments on almost any music instruments and gear.
